FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP WWTP UPGRADE

Fairview Township will receive sealed proposals online via PennBid for the New Headworks and UV System project; Contract 1 - General Construction, Contract 2 - Electrical Construction, in accordance with the Contract Documents. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time on May 30, 2012. Bids will be opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Fairview Township office, 599 Lewisberry Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070. Bidders may access all documents and solicitation details at no cost and at anytime on or after April 25, 2012 at www.PennBid.net.

The work includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of modifications to the existing wastewater treatment plant and other miscellaneous work shown on the drawings and as specified.

A Pre-Bid conference (mandatory) will be held at Fairview Township's north wastewater treatment plant (100 Sewered Road; New Cumberland, PA 17070) on May 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Representatives of Township and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
