Do I need a permit to install a fence? 

Yes.  A fence requires a Zoning Permit while an in-ground pool fence requires a Zoning and Building Permit.
When am I required to get a permit for a swimming pool?
Swimming pools with 24" of water or greater and/or an electric pump require Zoning and Building Permits.
We want to place a shed on our property, do we need a permit?
All sheds require Zoning and Building Permits.
Do I need a permit to have a retaining wall installed in my back yard?
Retaining walls at 4' or greater in height require Building and Zoning Permits.
We need a new roof installed. Is a permit required? 
A new roof does not require a permit as long as no structural materials are being replaced (sheathing, rafters) and the roof slope is a 4/12 pitch or greater.
Is a permit required to replace our house siding?
Replacement of siding does not require a permit.
When is a permit needed to have replacement windows installed?
A Building Permit is required only for new bedroom windows and if any, window glazing is 9 square feet or greater and 18" or less from finished floor or within 3' of a walking area.
Do I need a permit to have a concrete patio installed?
Concrete patios, flush with the ground, do not require Permits.
My neighbor put up a playhouse next to the property line, didn't they need a permit?
Swing sets, child's play houses, and jungle gyms, do not require Permits.
I would like to have my driveway resurfaced, do I need a permit?
Existing driveway resurfacing does not require Permits as long as the driveway is 5' from property line and does not exceed 20' width within the Right of Way.
